rattle in dashboard of VS

This might seem like a minor problem but it's driving me crazy.My month old VS has a very loud rattle somewhere in the center of the dashboard. We have tightned everything we can find and have not been able to locate the noise. It happens going over any small bump whether the top is up or down. Anyone had this happen to their cars? Thanks for your ideas. Gary Turner

Also check you windshield wiper motor. If it's the round kind, then it's touching the body. check between top of the motor and the inside of the body. if it's touching and the motor is loose... rattle. you can usually tightnen up the mounts and / or add some insulation material to keep it from moving around.
