re: Emblems

I've called myself to check out pricing on the emblems and this is where I am going to get mine. They've got good prices and know about these cars.

I need to get the badges, the dash emblem, and the "porsche" emblems. I have all the others on it. Does anyone know who I can take this to to have the holes drilled in and put on?

Drill 'em yourself dude! Just remember to curve the emblem to follow the contour of the body before you drill. Then dip each post in car/wax and place it on the body of the car or, make a template on cardboard. EZ install.

When pre-drilling the holes, make sure you run the drill in reverse to get through the gelcoat, this way you are less likely to get a chip.

I just finished doing mine...front and back...PORSCHE..used white paper...made impression with stubs behind emblem ,then pushed toothpick all the way thru paper on stub marks...then pushed emblem thru holes...outlined the emblem on paper..then cut it out..to use as stencil...applied white tape on place where I planned to attach to car....measured and centered...taped stencil on to tape used pen to marked thru holes on stencil...double checked everything...started with tiny drill and adjusted as needed.....Because I couldn't push friction springs on engine side...I had to crazy glue it on after I drilled the holes.

You can also use 3M plastic trim adhesive, which is what I used.
