This is a heck of a deal folks, as this would be a $40k+ car to reproduce.

Chuck- Do you know what cam is in it? Heads? How high does it rev with power? The reason I'm asking is that unless it stops revving at 5,000rpm it may have a tad more than 125 hp. Are the tires 185/60's on 5 1/2" rims? Al

I agree with Al.  My 1915 was rated at 125hp, so Chuck's 2110 is likely more.  Mine will easily (and quickly) rev to 5500 - more if I'm not careful.

Like I said, this is a screamin' deal.

I honestly don't know my HP, so I thought I would be conservative on my estimate. Currently on vacation, will try and answer your further questions when I return home.

However, not sure I'll be able to, other than the tires.

Not to worry, Chuck, and enjoy the vacation. I don't know why I need to know all the details when we're talking engines and transaxles, but I do. Did you see Ron's poke at me in the "Speedster go kart" thread? He had me laughing out loud! And call me Al (come on, you know the tune!)

Ok, just a little - It was rated that much by the Beck folks (a bit of salesmanship, perhaps), but I think it's a bit lower.  Don't know all the specs anyway.  It is pretty quick, though, as befits one of Pat Downs' engines.  He rates his 1915s at 120.  I've added a Pertronix ignition and A1 Sidewinder.  Not sure what that may have added.

Pat rates his 2110s at 140 I believe, so that could be what Chuck has.  Either way, the car is a nice one and a good deal for someone.  See how I got us back to Chuck's car?

It would depend on the cam/rockers, heads and compression, Carl. Could be 130, could be 150 (or more).

I've the impression that Pat Down's 2054cc type1 engines supplied to Beck  are all assembled with the same components

Carl, For the most part our CB engines are pretty standardized, however we get requests for port/polish/cam change/compression/etc... and Pat builds whatever I ask him for.

BTW, my standard 2110cc CB dyno sheet shows 143hp at 6500RPM, and that is on 44mm carbs.

   Returned from Maine last evening, it appears most of your questions about my engine may have been answered. The tire size is 185x65 R15 and it revs quite easily to 5500 rpm's, I generally shift no higher than 5000 however. With regard to specifics concerning heads, cam, etc. I'm afraid I cannot answer.
