I have, and there is a flatbed warmed up and waiting for the details should they actually get back to me... seriously, its gotta be worth a couple hundred bucks to have someone pick it up for me.. if its a horrible basket case, I am sure there is a couple hundred worth of ebay parts in it, if not, then I might have the next couple of years pay already spent.. lol. Its north of atlanta, but Dawson county is fairly large...

Maybe we need to have a road-trip gathering at James' place so's we can stand around drinkin' beer and lookin' at his new toy. I'm sure his wife would love it.

Honestly, as it sits, just based upon the condition of the nose and the lights it's worth in the thousands.

Lane, she might be happy, you see she thinks I am losing it as I presently stand around, drink beer, and talk to myself. Having others there to respond would be a welcome change. And yes, I live in South Charlotte... so when are we all getting together? I might be going to Charleston this week for a couple days of fun with the family as its the quiet before the storm at work this week. I don't think she will go for the drive seperate cars idea. Wish I had a huge gas sucking SUV with a trailer that puts the mileage into the minus's so I could haul the speedster over to the coast, but its not gonna happen either.

So, the guy hasn't gotten back to me, but I am guessing its gone. I tried doing a search on the guys name as a land developer, but nothing. I would honestly have it transported here to charlotte if I could get him to contact me.

Its somewhere close to Dawsonville GA... but didn't hear back from him... did some serious investigative work too... no number to be found for a Travis Simpkin in Dawsonville. Its about 4-5 hours away, so I don't think it would be worth it for me, but its right up there by Jake Raby isn't it?

Could it be... is this the same car. I remember the pics were bad, but this looks like the same car.
