Some of you are Fuchs gurus, so I need some help.  These came on my new project and I don't know if they are genuine Fuchs or imitation.  They have the Fuchs "Fox", but I have been told that doesn't prove anything.  Additionally, they have been powder coated so the marking are much fainter than normal.  What do you all think.  Are they real?

Front are 6Jx16
Back are 7Jx16
I thin the markings read
911.361.020
AS 10.62 "fox logo" 281190

Thanks

I agree with @MikelB, Theron, they appear to be genuine Fuchs.  Check the part #'s against the chart.  I've never heard of/seen replicas with the fox logo, part numbers and manufacture dates cast in- I didn't think that kind of fine detail was possible with the casting technology used for wheels, and doing so would just invite too much trouble from lawyers.  Porsche (and probably Fuchs as well) has a whole division of lawyers ready to pounce on something like this.  There will also be a weight difference- a cast replica will be heavier than a forged Fuchs.  Something in the back of my mind says that the weights in the chart for 16x6's and 16x7's is not accurate; those numbers listed are a couple(?) pounds heavy.  I know there is a 4 lb. difference between a 15x6 Fuchs and the lightest replica out there.

And good to see someone saved that wheel chart (I believe I posted it originally).

More than you ever wanted to know about 15" Fuchs wheels (and how gaga all the Samba idiots have gotten over them- they're the ones who have driven up the prices to well past ridiculous on used Fuchs wheels.  I really don't see the point in hoarding them like some of these guys do, but oh well...)
