Hey guys. I went out to go pick up a spare tire from Kevin over at Mendeola and the shop is really impressive. He brought in his speedster so I could check it out because I am still rebuilding mine (hopefully I finish this summer but if not its always nice in San Diego) and damn his car is amazing. The suspension is ridiculous on this thing. I know he post pics up on the forum but when you see it in person it even better. He took me out for a drive and it handles really well. I noticed when we were going fast I felt like the car was always in control compared to how mine would feel at those speeds. If anyone is close by I definitely would recommend checking them out. They do really clean work there also for all you perfectionists out there. If anyone is thinking about putting a Porsche transmission he has a cool setup the way he did it and hopefully he can post some picks of the welding he added to the bell opening area which allows you to use stock VW mounts.
The best part about driving in someones speedster is that it is inspiring me to hurry the hell up. I am missing out on all the summer time fun.
