What are people doing when it comes to dust shields for rear brakes ? Do any of the kits come with dust shields or has anyone made a set up?

I had the same queston and asked the folks at CB performace that same queston when i was putting mine together. No constructive reply.

.... or you could buy some drum-skins if you are running wide 5s....
i think Peter is looking for the back dust shield (like on disc brakes).
I've seen a backing plate modified (cut / trimmed / bent) to be a dust shield. Pretty inexpesive and i'm guessing you'd eiter be powder coating it or marine enamel / POR-15 it.

I'm looking for a backing plate now to see if it can be modified, I think the diameter may be to small I need to cover an 11 inch rotor. I'm also concerned with the spacing depending on which side of the caliper bracket I mount it on.
as a side note - and just my opinion - 11" rear disc on these cars is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big.
Regardless of what i think - the samaba.com and CIP1.com have them both new and used.
