Rear Seat Area

Never did quite like the rear seat area, so built it in, will have the battery and storage area, lined with sound deading material... the rest will be also covered with a synthetic sued.. and a lockable door...I'm using high back seats so they fit nicely about level with the hump what do you think ?

Good idea, but I really couldn't tell how you covered that area in the pictures. It looks like you have a half tonneau cover which does the trick for me. I like it!

Bill--that area is where I put our luggage and other items for trips.

It wouldn't work for me to not have that area available.

Also, where will your top go when you put it down? Mine fits right into that space.

Jack - Looks like he cut out the fiberglass panel in the back seat area. On CMC there is a good sized area that is just air space til you get to the 2nd real engine "firewall". So once panel is in it looks normal. That definitely triples your storage area. Years back someone here on Forum used that area for an Eberspacher gas heater with a custom built steel fire box - good area for fire suppression system too.
