rear window removal

has any one made on a vs the rear window to fold down. if so is it easier with snaps or a zipper. bill

John Estes has an IM with a zippered rear window. It's the bee's knees, especially on hot, sunny days - you can put the top up for shade and still live in the cockpit.

I would imagine that you could take your top to any decent auto top place and they could do it for you. My guess would be under $200, depending on the color of the top.

I've cruzed in Will's car and let me tell you I love that rear window zippered down. Much better airflow and visability, plus you are in the shade on a hot day.Kind of like having a Bimini top. Hey Will thanks again for you and Deb stopping by with THOSE Tangeriens and avo's. Those are the sweetest I've ever had. How was the car show last weekend?

When I converted mine into a D I added a bow in the back with latches It works but If I had it to do again I would have sewed it up.. It gave the car extra places to lose the heat in the winter..

Their are trade offs when you do stuff like that..
