DO get a detailed professional inspection ( Kirk, etc)
> Rear end inpacts can cause hidden fiberglass damage that you won't see without knowing what to look for.
> Did the bumper supports twist and or bend the rear 2 x 2 horizontal steel support ?
> Cause any other rear structual damage ?
> Did the bumper brackets crack the surrounding fiberglass where they go through the body ? ...and the list can go one, don't just go for a quick settlement, do be detail oriented and as prevoiusly mentioned, get a detailed professional inspection. ~Alan
Mark, sorry to hear that, glad you are ok. I got a "light tap" at a light a few years ago, and there was considerable damage, although Spyders don't have bumpers. Hopefully, you fared better than I did.

I got that fixed finally and had new paint done this spring.

A few weeks ago some spineless tool hit the left front of my car in a parking lot. Real nice way to finish off a car weekend, was returning from Lime Rock Park vintage festival, stopped for some food.

So back to the body shop I go. Ce la vie!

P.S. by Ted I was thinking Ted Kennedy was driving the Mercedes behind you, maybe in spirit!
