Teresa has some family who live in LA. They also have a house for sale near us, in Savage, MD.
They made us a deal we couldn't refuse, and I think we'll be moving soon. Saves us our current problem of no garage, saves them having to re-list the house, and we're able to move out of the townhouse after prepping it very nicely for the market.
Summary: the Hoopty will have a garage, and we will have a house we'd have been years saving for. Her uncle is a plasterer and cement mason, and the house has a very few, specific things that could be tweaked, but it looks just fine to us.
Plus, we're about 10 miles closer to Kelly. How about that?

Thanks, guys! This is a three-bedroom place, so you Left Coasters coming out for Carlisle will have plenty of room to relax before the drive up there -- if you're coming into the BWI airport, that is. We'll probably loan the VeeDub to you folks also, if you're interested in not having to right-seat or rent a car.
We'd love to have y'all over. (That goes for local folks, too!)
I'm really stoked about finally having a garage for the little car. That's been YEARS in coming. I gotta say, and I'm really happy to say it, Teresa squared the rigging on domestic finances while I was in Africa.
This is WAY more her doing than mine. 'Course you guys probably figured out by now that she's a LOT smarter than me. I'm just the lucky dude who gets to be happy all the time now.

Any bets on how long it takes Kelly to realize that we're in the same county he is now? I'm figuring on a week, unless someone here spills the beans. ...
Geez, Nolan....you're quick!

I've recently (Monday) had reconstructive surgery on my shoulder to repair a badly torn rotator cuff. It seems OK if I keep it still - not all that easy, but the "Ultrasling 5000" I have to wear helps (not enough, tho).

I got your drift, but when I'm typing (10X slower than before) that's ALL I can do!!

Back to my books....see y'all!

The bent-wing Speedstah guy from Beaufort
Sorry Gordy, couldn't let that one pass like the entry on another site. Guy was mentioning about leg room in a speedie, he said his son was 6'7" while he was 6"s with out realizing he used " instead of '. LOL was he ever razz'd on that slip, went right over my head at first. Heal quickly, would like to see you and the Mrs in this year's Dragon Run.
