What do you all prefer? My replica Speedster's standard headlights are not dim, so elec. connections appear sound, but a hi-tech flashlight could light the road better and further. Searched the forum for answers but nothing recent came up. I'd prefer not to do some HID extensive conversion, but you all can hopefully tell me the best solutions.

One caution when upgrading your headlights-your wiring may not be up to the task.
i run H4 conversions i bought at CIP. not expensive and work awesome.
just make sure you have solid grounds, clean wires and connection and enough juice from your alt

Thanks all, I went with the E-codes. Planned on fully checking the wiring - I've found other wiring that was not up to snuff.
I'm currently running sealed beams from the mk 1 golf that was still made in South Africa till a few years back, you can retrofit them into speedster buckets and they work a treat. Dirt cheap too, about $50 will get you both sides done.
If you haven't already power them with relays.
Speedway Motors now offers a Glass 7 inch LED super brite replacement Just plug um in and go.. BUT nearly $300.oo each

I agree with Wildbill, relays (and good grounding) usually solves the problem. You will have to wire them into your system. You should be able to find more information with a search of this site,

Holy crap, I didn't realize the price ($290.00) was for ONE light.
EEEEK!!! Never mind. At $300 I was thinking it'd be a worthwhile improvement. At twice that... not so much.

A review on the Phase 7 LED headlights:
After driving my wife's new VW golf with the HID Xenon package, I was worried about the same thing. I wanted the ultra white light, but didn't want to blast oncoming traffic like all the Honda tuner guys. The trick for me was discovering that some projectors have an actuated metal blockout that remains in position when the beams are on low, and slips out of the way when full Hi beam is requested. A couple of used projector sets from a supplier, and the process began. EXCEPTIONALLY happy with the results.
H7 halogens for the hi/lo beams built from OEM Infinity SUV projectors.
The Hella foglights were from an OEM Lexus and I dig the yellow.
