I don't know How I get dragged into some of these threads....
Get caught one time wearing your "cool boots" (shown) & right away everyone talks....
For those who don't know, that pic of Marty & Sandy was NOT taken on Halloween,
just another saturday night at the Grzynkowicz house....

I received my samples yesterday. The red is a much more subdued, rusty-red and the red leather edging looks to me a nice complement. Seeing it in the car suits my taste for something a little out of the ordinary without looking garish. I have a couple more questions for Drew at Cocomats, but I do believe I have made my decision.

I like it.

Benny's got all the dominoes...
Order complete. A little disappointed that I was forced to go with a black heel pad but what the heck, I guess Terry just didn't pray hard enough for that part In the end, they should end up looking something like this. Philosophically speaking, the heel pad should coordinate well with my black shifter boot and emergency brake. I probably won't even consider painting my shift knob eliminating that sticky problem that Marty has.

If you paint your knob, you should paint the e-brake handle as well. Otherwise leave 'em both au naturel.
For the time being, everything will stay black.
Uh oh too late, Carey paited my knob over the winter. Now that you guys point it out should have done the e-brake as well. The new list begins.....

The e-brake is pretty easy to do. All you need from Carey is the ivory button. You can paint the brake handle yourself.
I stripped the paint off of my ebrake and polished the metal.
Looks more "business-like".
Thanks, Joe.
I'll snap a photo tomorrow.
Mr. Carey Hines stepped in somehow with his sway with suppliers and I now have my "red" Cocomats in my car way ahead of schedule. I think they look great which is all that really matters. Thanks, Carey!

These are the same mats I put in the black/black Vintage Super Widebody they really make it pop! Drew at Coco Mats suggested them and he was right.

These are the same mats I put in the black/black Vintage Super Widebody that I am getting ready for eBay and they really make it pop! Drew at Coco Mats suggested them and he was right.
