Just wanted to get the word out that I will have a beautiful red Vintage Super Widebody ready for eBay very soon. I'm just putting the finishing touches on it and then I'll take pictures and do a video.

I like what you did with the wheels. Nice!
Looks good, Troy! What's the engine?
I have an itch; and the only thing that can scratch it is wide body cow bell. Really nice Troy.
Troy,
It's Beautiful. It's a Beast. It be Bad.
Can you describe the wheels by brand and size including the bolt circle. I have a Ford, Toyota bolt circle and I am looking for new wheels for my standard wide body.
craig
Another beautiful re-do by Troy!
I'll join the chorus of praise here. Beautiful job!
Very nice! Those are some fat pipes, What size motor?
The wheels are the standard custom made wheels that Vintage puts on their widebody cars. They are 17" and are a Chevy pattern. IRS with a Freeway Flyer.
Technically you spelled it right. You used the wrong word. Just saying. LOL
Yeah....If you're into baseball, you're fine.
Quite the basket of snakes under the rear valence, too......
Gordon,
I noticed that nest also. I have a very simple set up, but unless I hit the driveway curb at about 42.5 degrees, I scrape. I must note, that this neighborhood by the University was built in the 1920's for professors, the city has done nothing over the years to adjust for "modern cars". If my speedster was a Model A, I'd be fine. My Targa also bottomed out.
But got to love the old architecture. ( by CA. standards, but now NE is really old)
I use to enjoy business trips to that area, if nothing else to see the old houses.

Troy;
Are the nerfs on the front and the back identical? Where do you source these?
Thanks,
Art
The nerfs are the same and they are from Empi, but I cut off part of the lower section, because they are just too long.
Troy, for the rear wheels did you use the Chevy bolt pattern and redo the stock drums with new wheel studs in that pattern or did you use a VW to Chevy adapter plate? If using an adapter what width of one was used as there are a couple of different widths available.
I'm asking because I'd really like to put the custom VS rims on my Widebody.
Thanks
I really do like you new offering...Sweet
These are the wheels that Vintage uses on all their widebody cars, I didn't do it. There are no spacers, they just use a drum with the Chevy bolt pattern.
