Does anyone have any experience registering in Georgia? Mine is titled as a 1965 VW and I've had no issues registering in Michigan and Florida. I'm hoping it goes as well in Georgia.

Bill, you should not have any issue. Walk in to GA DMV with current title and just tell them you moved and just need to get the VW titled in GA. Avoid saying anything about it being a replica. While GA is a non-title state for older cars , since you have a title they can give you a title. One challenge will be the Title Tax that GA has. On your daily drivers you are going to have to pay a Title tax on each one you Title in GA ( sucks). On the Speedster they will not know how to value it so not sure what they will tell you. Typically if you bought it from me as an example it would be a 1% title tax on cars over 25 yrs old. based on purchase price. That is the only area I am not sure what they will use as a basis for the Title tax. They will probably tell you that you do not need a title and therefore would not have to pay Title tax but it is always nice to have a Title for when/if you go to sell it. Hope that helps.
Thank you Roy - that is very helpful. So no worries about emissions testing since my title says it's a 1965 VW? I'm sure these cars would never pass emissions, lol.
