Every state is different...check online with your DMV about specialty constructed vehicles. Usually they will list the process on their website.

I had my home built Spyder registered here in AZ. Wasn't too much of a problem. The most important thing you need is a Certificate of Origin from your manufacturer. Call me and I can fill you in on all the details.

I'm closing this one out. With a California tile (somehow the owner had it titled as a '57 Beck), it took about 35 minutes to get my Spyder registered in Arizona. Cost: $23.75. Personalized plates add $31. With the car titled as a '57, I do not have to have the car emission tested.
