I know this topic may have been covered before, but.... I have a Florida residence. My IM 356 is being contructed as we speak and Henry has sent me an MSO and Invoice. The Vin# has 7 digits/letters. I assume that the state DMV needs 17 letters/numbers for the computer to digest it as a true vin, or it spits it out as invalid. What 'other" digits can or should I use to flesh out a true vin? What about the engine #. Or does the state of Florida assign its own # using what Intermeccancia has assigned? Help, thanks

Hi Mike, Thanks for the info. I downloaded a DMV title/registration form from the Florida office. Henry sent me an MSO and invoice for the taxman. When I go in April, I'll have my insurance lined up, but atleast I can secure a Title. I wont have to go through a dog and pony show in Morristown. Silvershein came into my office the other day and he gave me some useful insights. Thank you all!
