(Relatively) New Spyder for sale in South Carolina

Since these don't come up too often, I thought I would make it known here.

A couple one town over have a 3 year-old Beck/Chamonix 550 Spyder for sale near Beaufort, SC (near Savannah, GA).

Black exterior, flawless Red Interior. 2160cc VW (I think Pat Downs built it) with somewhere around 500 miles on the car.

You know the story: Retired guy #1 buys the car and then moves to a Gated community (Hilton Head), can't really drive the car much and so sells it to not-yet-retired Guy #2 who buys it for his wife "because it's cute". When she finally drives it, she doesn't like it so now it's up for sale. Asking price = $25,000.

I am NOT involved with this sale, nor do I have any pictures, but could put prospective buyers in touch with the current owner.

Carey Hines of Special Edition is familiar with the car and can probably give more details. I haven't seen it in over a year, but it was stunning when I last saw it.

Kidding. I got a call from Gordon on this this morning, but I'm not going to buy one unless it's "factory direct" and to my specs ... and I'm in the planning phase with Carey for something REALLY neat.
500 miles on a two-year-old? There will be some work for the new owner, most likely, but a decent and probably negotiable deal nonetheless.
