Couple years ago there was one on a trailer at the Manassas VA BugOut. It had a call this number and no price listed --- or even what it was. The huge 356 Porsche brake drums were a give away - no engine. Dale and I tried to call - next we know it had a SOLD sign on it.

Neat! Did it have the tube chassis as advertised? I wonder what it sold for?

Always liked the Devin, but there is really no part of it that reminds me of the 904.

These are pretty tough to find, but great cars from the 50's. With so few changing hands, it would be tough to estimate any street value.

Angela you're right, I meant a little like a 718 in the nose and in the rear but not remotely ,nearly as beautiful as your Spyder.

There is a fellow who shows up at the Knott's/Pomona Handcrafted Show every year who has one of those Devin's. He inherited it from his father. For my money, it's the best looking VW in the whole friggen world. I'd trade my speedster for that in a heartbeat!
