At lest this guy actually has built one. Not crazy about it myself.

Kind of "Starke meets West Coast Customs"
I won't be copying it on the next build.
It brings starke realism and seems better proportioned IMO.
Well, I think it is a very tasteful design. Uh, make that beautiful. . . and far better looking than any Boxster currently in production. Are there plans to put the car into production?

I think it looks cool.
Data on acquiring one is on the iconicautobody.com website. You supply the donor 986 and $64,485.00 and voila', in twelve weeks it's on the boat to the U.S.A.
For that total investment plus shipping etc. I think I would looking at 911's

Obviously, this is pretty much the same business model as Starke. I wonder if Starke has sold any cars yet? Maybe I am missing something.

Starke has posted on his Facebook page one of the cars that have sold. It could be just one but he did post it.
I noticed last week Starke released a rendering of their coupe design off a Cayman.

"The distance one needs to travel from idea / drawing to an actual product is very far and fraught with many perils and obstacles. Many have good ideas, but few make the trip."
That is from a speech I gave a few years ago about guitar design. An idea is nothing more than that... an idea.
But these guys in England seem to actually have built a product, and that is huge. Although not to my taste , none the less.. impressive.
If they’re that serious about the product they should start buying up the used Boxsters, fix any mechanical defects, and store them. That way if someone wants one they won’t waste their time searching for a good used Boxster.
I like this design with the exception of the tail/air deflector. Leave it down so as not to ruin the lines.
I love the look.
