Fiberglass is much easier than metal to work with. You pick up the big hunks of FG and use resin to glue it all back. Every town seems to have a Corvette or boat place that is good at fiberglass repairs. If it is too badly shattered or, worse yet, burned then you can buy replacement panels or splash a mold off a non-damaged vehicle for the hunk you need. There was a good article in Kit Car magazine years ago on this (both repairing and fabricating missiong pieces).

The picture below was posted on ebay and got me thinking about the colour change. Although yours is a little more milky chocolate... it is still in the same spectrum.
