I am trying to replace the "Porsche" button with an Intermeccanica button. I have the old button out still attached to the horn mechanism that fits in the steering wheel hub. I can not figure out how to take the old button off this mechanism and then attach the new button to the mechanism. Any guidance or clues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks George

Maybe a new Intermecchanism?
Okay that was funny.
OK, totally sorry. Can someone help this guy?
Gotta be something simple....call Intermeccanica and ask ?
A picture would help explain/show better what you are dealing with.
Type of steering wheel/hub.
Mine is a Momo simple unplug and re-plug.
Okay - assuming you have a Nardi style wheel - and I am only doing this because you are a supporting member. If you were Brian I would only make fun of you...
Here you go:

...oops I forgot to ad - "Beep! Beep!" .... Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!
The horn button stuck.
I figured it out. When I got the horn button and switch out it was all one piece. My problem was that I did not know whether the button and switch were one unit or separate pieces. I thought they should be separate and was trying to learn how to get them apart. After some frustration I used a magic screwdriver to pry the button from the switch. Apparently the button had been glued to a plastic washer which had been glued to the switch. Once all was separated and cleaned the new button was substituted the washer was glued to the button and to the switch and all is working fine. Thanks George
