Ok, I did something really dumb this morning...really dumb, and I should have known better. I was checking out the lights, turn signals etc on the front...leaned in and supported my weight on the darn windshield frame...Yup! Windsheild cracked

So I called VS and they are shipping me a new one.

Now my question is any tips or hints and how do I pull the original off and re-install the new one?

I've replaced two in the Cobra, first one was from a rock hitting it from a dump truck, the second from a race when one of the guys in front of me spun something off his tires and hit me almost did square in the middle of it, and know how to do that...but the Speedster windshield is a lot different.

Any help would be highly appreciated...

Thanks for the warning. On a regular basis, I grip the windshield, to pull my fat ass up and out from under the dash.

That was one of the first no no's I was taught by Troy....whatever you do don't grab the windshield to get in or out!!

Attention..DO NOT grab the windshield as your pockets all be lightened.
