I just had my right hip replaced and can’t drive for six weeks so I thought I’d do some things to our Speedster that I was too busy to do before the surgery. I’ve always wanted a wooden steering wheel so I just purchased & installed this one in place of the black leather wrapped one that’s been on there since 1987. They’re both Moto-Lita 9 hole boss style, however, the wooden one is 1” diameter smaller but my wife says she likes it! :-) Me too!

Beautiful!
If you're like me, you will enjoy the little bit of excess leg room you get with a smaller diameter steering wheel.
Mucho better in my opinion
It's very nice, but I am thinking of going to a 420mm Old fashion style... just saying.
Nice looking wheel. I've always liked the Derrington style of wooden wheel. Gives the car a nice vintage look and feel.
May I say, good taste on your part.

@IndianBob Great upgrade with that good looking steering wheel. Now with your upgraded hip, you'll really enjoy pain-free top-down driving!
Cool bus! I like how you roll, Bob! @IndianBob
He may or may not have one, but give Carey Hines a call. He sold me a GORGEOUS polished billet adapter for my Nardi wheel.
Moto Lita wood wheel looks GREAT!
CRC has a new bus shifter that would go nicely with it.
Check with ISP West- they may have your adapter https://www.vwispwest.com/search?sq=adapter
