In case anyone has one kicking around. Mine will work (after an epic battle of bending and cussing -profanity flowed like sh7t through a goose) but I don't like the small, slight ripples in the aluminum every so often. Not bad but I'm sure I'll kick myself later if I don't swap it now. May spend some time with the right fender dolly and an oak block but figured I'd ask first.

I don't think I've ever seen a top piece that did not have some "ripple" to it.... Just a word of warning...
Thanks Leon. Good to know. The simple fact is (sadly) that I've only seen (besides mine going together) speedsters at Carlisle last summer so I only have photos to rely on so I'm missing the fine details.
I've got one from CMC on my hobby shelf, it's uncut, not drilled or tapped, i'll take some pictures if interested!ps. got the bottom track also
