I am looking to replace tires currently P185 65R 88H on vintage speedster. Any recommendations? I live In a mountainous area so performance is a must!

Recently mounted Continental True Contact A/S tires in 185/65/15 on my VS Speedster. They are fabulous! Very smooth riding (22/26 PSI) and handle great. They have a 700 tread wear rating but perform like a sport tire. Very reasonably priced too. They are also the top rated all season touring tire on Tirerack. I recommend them.
I saw those too. Thanks for the response.

That may be me. I read a comparison of classic style tires in either Hemming Sports and Exotic or Classic Motorsports and the Vredestein came out on top. Jack Crosby got some after I mentioned that and he loves 'em.
Vreds are nice tires, had them on my Tiger...they were the only manufacturer that made this size..205/60/13
Steve I run these.
^ I have a set as well. I'm trying to use up the Dunlops before mounting these, but I'll need to get them on soon.
Stan, they are quiet, perform great and has a bonus; they look awesome.
All I've ever had on my car is the Vredesteins. Classic look and really good performance. Same tire that Marty alluded to above.
