Replacing rubber in decor on bumpers?

How do I get the strips of rubber out of the chrome?

Work on a spot wiggling it up and down until one of the ridges (top or bottom) pops out. Once have it out, you just pretty much pull.

I also advize cutting the replacements about 3 or 4 inches longer and working it in from the ends .

A bit of a effort but as it draws up over time it doesn't come up short at the ends.

Sunlight does some strange things over time.

Surely somebody sells this stuff, I see it on eBay for $40 to do the front and rear, with $10 shipping. Wonder if a boat place would have it?

KW - it might be worth a look-see at West Marine (if close by). Check under the 'rub-rail' section and see if anything there would be usable in this application.
