That's funny. He took off the bumperettes on the front and instead of replacing the rubber strip he just put on little reflectors to hide the holes. LOL.
I am actually looking for gauges like they have on this speedster anyone know where I might find them? I don’t like the trim around them but I can work around that.
Those gauges were supplied by CMC/FF for their entire line (Speedsters, MGTD, Gazelle). Price in 1990 was $325 for 5 gauges and senders. The came with silver (chrome), black or the brass (gold) bezels and matching faces. They are slightly larger than most gauge mounting holes. You see them here, on SAMBA and on ebay every once and awhile for around $100 set. Be sure to get all the sending units if you buy a set as they are not same as VDO.
Is it just the look of the roman lettering that you like? If that it then VDO has a dependable (can still buy) alternative. They are called the Heritage Chrome series. They look period great in the TDs and Gazelles.
