Replica 550 Parking Brakes

We have Replica 550 Parking Brakes in process. Please note, these are "looks like" 550 Parking brake assemblies, not a "will fool all experts" reproduction. We are sending these off for powder coating (silver) this week, following some final fitting and clean up.

We should have a dozen of these completed in the immediate future, several are spoken for already. I am not certain there will be more than the original dozen, like everything else, there are not enough hours in the day to do everything we need to do....

If you are interested please send me a PM. The planned SO pricing will be about $350, substantially less than the accurate reproductions previously offered by Dario and others. We may offer a version with lightening holes as well as a kit to mount the assembly on a Brandwood cable shifter, that remains to be seen also.

yes, we can make mounting brackets. They are not part of the kit however...reason being is most every car is different and there are many differnt ways of mounting the brake....

I have the parts back from the powder coaters now for the first lot lot of brakes. We have the first several assemblied. We are making the cable locks right now so the first several kits will ship in a couple or 3 days, The first lot is sold out assuming everyone takes theirs as they have signed up to do....more kits should be available shortly, like 2 - 3 weeks.

I am out of town at the moment but will be returning by the week end. I am expecting several more sets of parking brake parts back from powdercoating this week. I think one of those is not yet spoken for but I need to get back to my home office to check for certain. As to the mounting I mounted mine on the passenger side of the Brandwood shifter because of the lack of space on the drivers side. Since my car always has a driver and seldom has passenger this works out fine.......see the photo section under my name for how the shifter looks in my car if you would....and yes I can supply the mounting bracket also...

We are just in the final process of boxing up 2 dozen of our parking brake kits. I have 6 already sold and several of you all have asked me to hold one for you.
