It is indeed the product of Street Beast. It has the welded steel frame around the passenger compartment, steel plate supporting the front steering assy and 2 x 2 steel tubing around the engine compartment.  Innovative Street Machines LLC they called themselves. Age and lack of flexiblity has brought us here.

How is the car titled and what year was it built, please ?

The car is titled as "1956 Speedster T"  The title was issued in 2007 and the build took about two years. I think our first trip to Carlisle in the "Huny" was 2009.  It appears the car is sold--Andy should be here tomorrow afternoon.  I found the rain-hats through a member of the Speedster Owners Group.  I believe through the classifieds.  After one of the cars at Carlisle was hydro-locked after a night of rain--that was a tough morning for one of the guys--but it didn't cause any damage.   I will post immediately when the car pulls out of the driveway.

Yes it was Kelly. Sorry to be leaving the group. I had hoped to get to Carlisle this past May but too many irons in the fire.  We have 10 grandkids (as of Monday) so weekends are baseball, soccer, picnics and birthday parties.  Thanks for the kind words, Alan.  It's been fun and the Speedster Owners is a unique group--always open and friendly.  Jim, I have been to CA but we were north of the bay.

Car sold today--leaving for Texas.
