So I searched this site extensively to find a wiring diagram for some replica gauges that I got (no they did not come with any instructions).

In searching a came up with a few drawings that gave me a bit of insite as to where each wire should go. I had a couple of issues as I have used an EZwiring harness, and all of the drawings I came across seemed to correspond with wiring colours etc from other kits.

I came up with these two images, based on what I found on this site, Intermeccanica, and the web in general. Hope it helps alleviate some "Madness"

The Park Brake warning light on the Tach is as per the Intermeccanica Owners manual, Henry does not use the other light (according to the manual on his site), I am using the second light for the Brake pressure sender from my master cylinder.

If you want me to e-mail you a full page PDF of these two images, just drop me a line.

Came across this one as well on the 912bbs

this will be a real help as most of us dont know what each of the coloured wires go to..

The gas/oil level combo gauge:
the black/blue is from the light switch and will go to the bottom post on the oil level side and to all the gauges
The grounds (brown) goes to two posts 31 at the top of the gauge on both the oil and gas levels.
The green/white is the oil level tank wire, which you do not have on a 912. You can hook it up. However, it will show the oil level as always full when the key is on.
The green wire is the gas level wire.
15 is for the dash lights which is a yellow/blue wire. it will also go to the bulbs on the all the gauges.

The oil temp/pressure combo gauge:
The brown/white wire goes to the bulb at the top center. This is for the hand brake. It can also be use for the oil pressure light. For there is not a place for it on this gauge. Normally it is the Green/red wire. If you decide to use the oil pressure idiot light along with the oil pressure. You will need a oil pressure/light combo sender and will have to add a wire for the idiot light.
The light at the bottom of gauge is the generator light and the blue wire connect to it.
the blue/yellow wire is the dash lights. and the blue/black wire it the light switch wire.

The green/black wire is for the oil temp.

Whoa.....My gas/temp combo gauge is different from BOTH of those. Looks more like a 356 on the front, but WAY different on the back. Could be the year affecting me, too - this is one of those from the '70's when the US speed limit was 55 and Speedos only went to 85mph.

I have one 12-pin round plug at about 11-o'clock looking at the back of the gauge. It is labeled 1-12 around it on the pc-board. NONE of the wires go anywhere else other than this plug, although the grounds and lights should be pretty easy, as they're the same colour as the other gauges.

I'll poke around on that 912 site and see what I can dig up. Also, my son recommended poking around on the Pelican site, too.

Something to do on a "snowy" night, as I'm a month or so away from messing with the wiring loom. (Actually, the only snow we get here is on un-used channels on the TV).

Thanks, guys...... gn
