Eddie, I made the horn button myself after seeing how much the aftermarket suppliers were asking for theirs...$125.00 to $150.00. I just could'nt bring myself to pay that kind of money for a horn button...I'm a tight wad! These steering wheels come with either a solid black horn button or you can order a gold sun or a gold lady....Mine had the gold lady....I carefully took a holesaw drill and cut the middle out of the button, then I glued in a ceramic Porsche hubcap emblem. Tedious work....but came out fairly nice...The ceramic hubcap emblem....$18.00.......What a deal...don't you think!

Michael,it looks great, you did a good job. I thought about doing the same thing except I haven't had the guts to cut a hole in the horn button. My horn button is solid black so I was just going to drill three holes for the hubcap emblem to push into like it does on the hubcap. I'm just afraid the arc of the horn button is different from the hubcap emblem. How did you glue yours in?
I saw a Porsche Crest Sticker at the Porsche Dealer that I might try. That way I don't have to cut any holes.

Eddie if you don't cut the center out the emblem it will kinda sit on top.....it just does'nt look right. First, very carefully take the back off the horn button. If you want the horn to work when you get done, this is very important. Try not to break anything. Next, You have to cut the dome out of the button....Measure the emblem then cut a hole with a holesaw that goes into the end of a drill. It has a drill bit in the center of the saw to make it easy to center the hole. Make the hole just a little smaller than the emblem. You can center the hole in the button by marking an x on the back side of the button....then cut the hole. This will take care of the dome and will let the emblem sit flat on the button. You need to make sure you do everything right the first time....it's almost impossible to redrill a second time. Once your done, turn the emblem and the horn button upside down and silicone the emblem from the back....let it sit 24 hours then put the back, back on the button very carefully... hook up the wires then reinstall in steering wheel.....your good to go. Also, Here's another option...Purchase a hood handle emblem from John at JPS.....It's small enough that it should fit on the button (maybe with no cutting) just drill a couple of small holes and glue....I thought about doing that but I thought the way I did it would make a better end result....I'm kinda picky!
