My father is passing down his favorite toy to me and I am looking into giving the speedster a makeover. The car is lister below...


Built 5/25/88 -Body type FS1145-Porsche Speedster..Fiberfab

I know fiberfab is since defunct, but I am looking for some reputable people to give the car a face lift. The car is presently is Florida, and I live in New York. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

The best source of such information is probably Alan Merklin, a frequent denizen of this site, and one of the few I've seen who can take a Fiberfab/CMC/Streetbeast Speedster and make it the match of any other Speedster out there. He lives in PA and one of his nicest creations is owned by Allan Shapiro, who lives either in NJ or southern NY (sorry Al, I can't remember which).
