We use a lot of the Retro Sound stuff in our cars, as well as in some restorations.
My only complaint is that the knobs are remote and attach to the head unit via a telephone jack. While this is handy for placement, they are not very secure and we've have had several come loose over time. Fortunately, the radio defaults to "volume down" when this happens, so anything you do (try to change station, change volume, etc) just turn the volume down. I guess that is a good default vs blaring a radio you can't control until you get behind the dash. LOL Anyway, a small piece of butyl tape will rectify this, just something to know.
I also like that they have so many different faces, bezels and knobs so you can replicate anything from the 50's Becker to a 70/80's Blaupunkt.
We also recently started using an Indiana made product that is an amplifier and a bluetooth unit all hidden in one remote mounted box (Out of Sight Audio). No visible head unit and it connects to your iPhone or other Bluetooth device when you get into the car.
