OK the wheels are back from powder coating (I took the Satin Black recommendation), and have been reinstalled with 3/8 spacers and track studs. I'm very happy with the finished look, my only problem now is an obstruction with the rear drums or the e-brake so I can't drive the car. Any ideas why this might have happened, as I can't see why the spacer/track stud install should have caused a change in the braking set-up?

I haven't but that's likely the issue. The original wheel bolts that I replaced seemed unusually short. I also made the rookie mistake with the right rear drum, of thinking that the wheel studs needed the same torquing as the wheel nuts, so I was trying to hit 75 lb/ft, rather than the 15-20 lb/ft that I subsequently learned from reading the instructions that came with the studs.
