Return of The TECH NITE

Just moved into a bigger shop and found out Roland the VW wrench is my neighbor, so do we want to do a Webber Tech nite? mid November Saturday afternoon after a run?

that would be so cool. I had a BMW motorcycle and 2x a year they would have a tech day,,30 bikes would show and these guys would literally partially disassemble their bikes to grease, remove. replace parts.

So it does take 4 Californians to change the muffler bearings! You Tube the tech nite for those on other coast!

Rumor has it Gerd lost too many parts and really wasn't invited back, but then maybe . . . . .

Desi, I met you a while back at Carl's I'm the guy from Bear and Summit that was looking at your car. Ended up getting a car from Northern Ca that my friend found. So far I'm having fun putting it back in shape. Wife thinks I'm nuts, still putting money into the corvette you saw and now this car also. Would love to meet up at your shop if you put together a tech night.

If you guys are up for it, we could start the Tech Day with a morning meet up at the Lyon Air Museum..

My neighbor is the President of this facility and will hook us up with special parking and tour. Very cool exhibits located close to John Wayne Airport.

Then when we leave the museum we could stop off at True Speed Motorcars which is just around the corner and check out what's in the showroom...

...then a cruise up the coast to Desi's shop in HB.

PERFECT! I'll post more details (trip sheet) when I get the particulars from Lyon Air Museum. Cruise logistics will include a lunch stop somewhere along Pacific Coast Highway and ending at Desi's shop in HB a little before 4:00PM!

Glen C - hope you will be able to join us on this cruise! Just come over on the Ortega Hwy and catch up with us in Irvine/Newport Beach (close to John Wayne Airport). It will definitely be worth the drive. Plus, we won't be starting at some crazy early morning hour, maybe around 10:00am. Check the links (on my earlier post) for the stops we will be making on the way to Desi's shop.
