So you want a right hand drive Speedster kit, is that correct?
So does Chesil in the UK:
There are a couple of members here, very talented in 356's that might help. They hail from South Africa, RHD.
Flatfourfan, is the first to come to mind. They might be of assistance.
Art
thanks for the feedback so far, I will check them out, I had a look at chesil but for some reason the nose on them looks a little off, I'm not sure if its just me but the headlights look to high. Keep the suggestions coming. I am keen to build one.
I think there are regulations for headlight height in Britain that forced them to make some modifications to the front, hence the "...looks a little off".
Do follow up on Art's suggestion to PM contact SOC member 'Flatfourfan' (Gary Bloom in Pretoria SA) who'll be able to answer your questions and also direct you to a thread posting photos of the steps taken by another South African (I believe his name is Marty) of actually lowering the head lights on his replica to circumvent South Africa's regulation on minimum height....A regulation which gives our iconic 356A speedsters that "...looks a little off" look!

Carl,
Is the other SA you're referring to Manny with Black Betty?
Aussie,
Here's a link to Manny:

Of course, all of this should be weighed against the cost of modifying your new car's nose, versus getting a RHD car from Beck, Vintage (if they make RHD bodies) or Intermeccanica with the headlights down where they should be.
There were a couple of folks from OZ on here a while back with Speedsters. I'll poke around and see if I can find their usernames for you.
Do a search on here for "Australia" for a start. I got this when I did:
Robert M....YES...Manny is the name I struggled to recall. Since my TIA specific details of the life I've lived are foggy!...But "Marty" comes close
DrClock just removed the gauge eyebrow fiberglass on dash of one of his creations. I think it was a StreetBeast but applies to CMC/FF. Body would then be ready for a RHD VW pan. You're looking at a low of $7500 plus shipping --- if you are handy.
Easy to shave the fiberglass brow off the left side with a small air saw and fill it in, Take that brow piece and bond it to the right side and add the right drive pedals .
thanks for the link to manny, Im actually friends with him on FB, that car is incredible, and it sounds awesome, there are some great clips on youtube of it.
Hey Aussie
My suggestion seeing that you're based in AUS would probably to buy a new body from someone like Garth @ Universal products. Getting a speedster with the headlights in the correct location won't be had with an older car.
Like mine, you'll have to be handy with the glass and resin. If you're willing then you can save about 50% on a car and also get one as a roller.

Hi Aussie,
Another “Aussie” here. There’s a guy here in Queensland, “Brad McKernan Restoration” that had a clever approach to the ‘high headlight’ issue by relocating the horn grilles and indicator/parking lights (and likely the bumpers) up closer to the headlights. There are a few photos on his Facebook page (link below) of what he did. The finished product looks impressive, although no clear photos of the finished front. You’ll also see his other cool projects in progress (alloy bodied Porsche 550 Spyder and Porsche 910 re-creations…well worth a look!!)

....Just found better pics of the finished speedster on his own website (link below).

It’s likely the speedster that “Brad McKernan Restoration” restored was an old replica built in WA (Western Australia) back in the 80’s by “Autostyling” (company long gone now) that were all RHD. Their replicas had the same “high” headlights....and not really my cup of tea either. These speedsters still pop up for sale from time to time.
Hope this info is of help mate.
Cheers, Tony
Hi Aussie
As Gary mentioned speak to Garth at universal products in South Africa at this point in time Garth is the only supplier in South Africa and as a standard speedster sold by Universal the headlight is raised he can do the headlight modification if requested, I personally from experience would go the route that Gary's is following read his post much simpler.
There is another supplier who will soon be supplying speedster kits in South Africa, I have not seen this speedster kit in person but I am told it is dimensionally and visually correct. I have had few discussions with the new builder , not much details as yet as to when is the official opening date. Will keep you posted.
Here is my speedster ( Black Sheila) link
