Being a girl a tux really isn't the correct look, but have been on eBay searching for balaclava's for you. Not to bad in price all colours perhaps you could get one to match your sports car ;-)

Who in God's name does Loubelou think he is?  The Eunos, MX5 etc etc is one of the most respected cars anywhere in the world, and he has the audacity to call it a, I quote, "Pile of Poop".  What sort of idiot is he? You know how it is on internet discussions…everybody is either an expert or a comedian (or both). In a lot of instances they fail at both. In light of that, it best to take comments on here with a grain of salt. 

 

Most everyone that posts routinely on this site has had some problem or another with their car (how soon we forget our humble beginnings). So stay the course, because there is a lot of useful info on this site, once you wade through the 'experts' and 'comedians'.

 

By the way, there is also another female on here that posts frequently. She has probably 'forgotten' more car facts than most of us think we 'know'!

Ya thanx for that message earlier. I wouldn't call them that though. It's not a factory it's a barn with one man that builds the cars.

Im not trying to be a comedian or expert, Musbjim! this Loubelou, who's seems to want to argue with everyone and everything, is slagging off something she's never owned or driven for that matter!! And not everyone can afford an aston martin, I find it unfair on you mocking me for owning a Mini Moke!! I'm sure i had more fun than you do in you overpriced aston!!

A couple of you need to chill (just a little bit!) and not take the whole thing so personally; if this happened regularly I don't think I'd waste nearly so much time here (I'd probably spend more time in the garage and get around to finishing my car, so actually, you guys could kill each other for all I care!).

To be fair I'm going to come clean... I'm an engineer that owns an engineering company that's a main supplier to Jaguar Land Rover. My daily drive is an MP4-12C and I've personally built an Ultima GTR and two Caterhams. I know "Loubelou" and have, and indeed still am, witness to the grief Chesil have put her through with the car...  There's NO way a "professionally" built vehicle should have been delivered in the condition it was, end of...   Everyone has problems nobody's denying that. To deal with those problems by not answering customer calls is quite frankly laughable. "Loubelou" dreamed of owning this car for over a year, sadly...it's all she's talked about...  Truth is, the realisation of her dream currently falls WELL below acceptable requirements...  Not good....

Rusty - I think you may be thinking of 'Mook'! As in Vinny & Gerd being a couple of mooks! 

Don't give up on the car Loubelou. It took me well over a year to get mine sorted out but I love the car. Make a list and take it to your builder and get a dialog started. It may or may not work out to your satisfaction and you may have to take it elsewhere but don't give up on it if you like it.
