I bet the VETS at Walter Reed AMH would enjoy them immensely. If you see a few CMC Speedster full page ad I would a like them.
I've gotten by in the past mailing them at the Media Mail Rate which 1/4 normal mail.
I have quite a collection from issue #1 through December 1959. Some of these seem to be quite valuable now.
Right. Of course I Googled, and found some sites buying/selling. The older ones carry a fine price on offer, although how thick or thin the market is, I have no idea. PS: They are "not buying at the moment" Can't recall ever seeing replica ads in these rags back then, but maybe. I could look. Donate to vets is a cool idea, although many there might be too young to appreciate. I have pinged local SCCA chapter and another local car club, waiting to see what they say.
OK, somebody asked for replica information in the old R&Ts. Only found one such reference so far from 8/73. So you can see below for your amusement. Also, scanned for things that might be more interesting. Nothing in these editions re: 356s as these were done by the time these rags were published. It was all about 911s and 914s. So I have provide one example of what I think might be the single best contribution to God and Country by R&T to automotive review, and that was their Road Test data table. i ate these things up out of every issue. And of course, the boys at the editorial table would have a little fun now and then with this. Anyway, see below.
For all the megapixels used here, the copies are not too crisp. -??-
The fun part of the RSR review: 2806 cc, 280 hp at 8,000 rpm, 0-60 in 5.6 sec, 0-100 in 12 sec, 178 mph, 0.927g on the skid pad. Oh, and price as tested: $22,500.
The Bugati: 0.32 hp at 700 rpm, 0-15 in 21.4 sec, top speed 17 mph, only $1350.

There was a working replica Cyclops at Amelia Island several years back.
Cyclops = death trap. I was thinking CMC or FF might have full page ads in the 70-80 magazines. Like this one from March 1982.
The Amelia people allowed a replica Cyclops? Not an original? <snifs>
