Just wow. The builder did an amazing job!
Won’t make Hershey but hope to be able to share this with everyone in the near future.
Wow, how do we get one of those into the NA market .. or Canada?
@IaM-Ray These two are on their way to me in New York so will be the first in NA. Will have two t-6 roadsters in about another two months. Pm me and we can discuss.
@PaulEnvemo Where in NY? I'm not too far from NYC.
@DannyP I’m on Long Island about 20 minutes from JFK. The cars will be arriving in about 4 weeks. Drop me a line and come by and check them out. What i can tell you is that these are pretty much tool room copies as they say. When I first saw I had to have one.

I have no idea how I missed this thread to date .... Beautiful cars , I'm drooling ~
Here are some pictures of the monocoque body/tub. Things to note. Low center tunnel, correct size, shape of inner rocker panels, original style floor pan with some very minor modifications, large foot well as original, original rear parcel area. I’ve worked closely with the builder to really work out some of the areas that always kind of missed the mark with our replicas. We aren’t trying to fool anyone by any means…just looking to build and offer to the fanatic like myself a very close copy that can be enjoyed without some of the quirky areas at significantly less than the cost of a real roadster.

Just fantastic. Where do the tops and windshields come from?
@sethsaccocio top frame replicated in house, also have an in house trimmer that makes the canvas tops from the correct German canvas. Local foundry casts the brass windshield posts from molds made off an original car. Windshields from stoddard.

Nicely done! Have you thought of having a zippered rear window on your tops that is a great feature.
@IaM-Ray we were actually discussing this last week and will be doing a zipper on the next two cars. I’m pretty excited because one of the two is a T6 twin grille roadster.
@PaulEnvemo can you see the zipper ? Nicely hidden. IM makes a nice top on a roadster

And on a Speedster. I have a zippered rear window that is very useful.
@IaM-Ray the non zipper top folds right on the clear plastic and in no time will wear and distort it. The hidden zipper is a great addition and will prevent stressing the clear plastic. We are pretty much going to mimic the hidden zipper set up that I have on my cabriolet.

Loving this build. I'm more of a roadster / cabrio guy, so you have my interest!
@Joe Shirley a slightly taller windshield and roll up windows go a long way when you are over 6 foot like me. Don’t get me wrong now…I love the speedsters, but the improvements made with the convertible D and subsequent roadsters made for a much more usable package. We should have a T6 twin grille wrapped up by year end and we are discussing going backwards in sequence and offering a ‘vert D. I’m very particular about the details and you’ll note that among other things, we have the correct windshield angle and trim around the windshield.
Good stuff, I love my IM Conv D.
A speedster would be great....30 years ago. Now days I want to be a little higher off the road.
BTW, do you still plan on selling your Super 90, or is it gone already?

Yup, and it's the details that really sell these little cars.
Lookin' good, Paul!
@Joe Shirley I do plan on putting the super 90 up for sale. I kind of keep putting it off because I’ve owned it for so long (18 years) and enjoy the heck out of it. But it is time to find a new custodian for it now.
