I think one guy used MGB window hardware once. Try the search button on the main forum index page and type in "roll up windows" you might find some info.
I built my CMC with the optional roll up windows that consist of VW hardware and different windshield uprights top frame channel and seals. Most are still available from http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLookup/HTML/356_USA_60_65_KATALOG/805-05-Frame3.htm
They are 356 replacement parts. I had to cut my own polycarbonate windshield to avoid a third failed glass trimming to fit the body contour.
This is the only shot I can find that shows part of the door panel opening. I think There may be some non-digital prints somewhere, as this was a long term project for me with many delays. This picture is in my folder with others both during and after completion.
