Came off a CMC/Fiberfab with a Metalcraft chassis. It looks like it was made specifically for a speedster body. 26" high, 43" wide. Base is 37.25" wide and 12.5 deep. I'm in San Jose, CA.
Make me an offer I can't refuse and it's yours.

I would love to have that. To bad shipping to Hawaii is so expensive...
One cut down middle cross bar and it would be half the shipping size. A nice looking roll bar.
I am interested. What is reasonable? I have no idea what these would go for...
Would this clear the Top when it is up?

I'm not sure this would work on a pan based car unless your seats are way forward.
Theron what say you?
Hi Bill,
MIne is a CMC with a Metalcrafters chassis circa 1989 out of Livonia, MI. No pan anywhere. I actually have a couple 2x2 square steel stubs sticking up from the main 2x3 frame rail just aft of the door jambs between the outer fender and rear seat sides. I should probably tie into that as opposed to the rear seat floor? Was this meant to be functional or decorative?
Thanks!
Craig
Great for mounting shoulder harness.
Bill: You live on an island, right? Aren't there a few welding outfits out there who make up Bimini frames and safety railings and stuff for boats? When I lived in Rhode Island there were 3 or 4 within 30 minutes of my house. They should be able to weld up a roll bar for you in Stainless Steel (looks like 2" to me) and you'd be good to go.
The welders here want BIG money to do anything.
Craig, I'd say your in luck for fitment. As far as function, I'm not an engineer and have no idea.
I don't have any function ideas, but fitment should be the same on a Metalcraft frame.

Duh. I just re-read the original post and noticed that you mentioned CMC and Metalcraft... .
I will take it, if still available! We can take this offline to PM.
Thanks for the help, Guys. Just got back into the Forums and am converting to Outlaw status.
Craig
Craig make sure and post some pictures of your project! Good luck with the roll bar.
Craig - As a visual reference, here are a few pics of a similar looking roll bar in one of our SOCer's Speedster, Doug Kingston in AZ. He also has a hardtop that is a cool look.
