I am trying to find out the weight of my 11982 IM Roadster D. Title is for the donor car. Any gueses?

Yes...I know...It is not legal and would reequire a trailer ands hastle. Last resort.

...or nearest landfill, dump yard or scrap metal yard, any place that charges fees by the load weight. Most likely would be metal scrap yard having scales.

I think he means that his car is not legal to drive, not that using a truck scale is illegal.
Current specs say 1850 lbs, but I don't know how much things have changed since '82.
You could always drive it into the swimming pool and measure how much water is displaced to calculate the weight :-)

Yes...the car is not street legal...I know that scales do measure weight. I am lazy... I am going to add wheel wells to my project and would like to get an idea of what the total might be...I only have about 180 hp and don't want to use it up :<{ ))))!
See here's where the CMC has a one up on the IM - it's 3/4" thick fiberglass pushes it over the IM's lowly 1800#!
With 180 hp you can afford to add a few pounds (to the car ).
Henry at IM told me they weigh 1850lbs.
