Rubber discovery

I've been trying to replace the rubber insert on one side of my car as it's a bit shorter than necessary. I have the IM/VS/JPS, etc. deco strips rather than the usual Beck trim. I discovered that:

1. Real 356A side deco rubber is waaaay too big for the common replica deco. I have 3 of 'em, if anybody want's 'em.
2. Real 356B/C bumper deco inserts have the same cross-section as the replica trim, and work perfectly. They're much more pliable rubber, and, therefore easier to install. It's also much cheaper to get this from Stoddard's than to buy the whole trim piece from VS or JPS.

Are these the pieces that run under the door? Would these maybe fit into the 356C aluminum deco channels? How much do you figure for a pair?

The 356 B/C stuff is narrower. I think that the B/C side trim (yes, the stuff under the doors) is the same as the bumper rubber, but I'm not sure. I'd like to see a real 356A so I could see how they do the trim. In the pictures it doesn't look as wide as the trim actually is. I think much of it is behind the aluminum. I thought it was then wrong stuff when I got it from NLA, so I ordered more from Stoddard - that's why I have 3 of 'em. If you still want 'em, you can have all of 'em for $30. That's half price.
