When I purchased my speedster it was identified as being built by Ryan MotorSports out of San Fransisco. No one seemed to know much other than that.
While I was searching for a new fuse panel I emailed JPS and received the following comment.
"I wondered what happened to those Ryan cars, there were I think 6 total built, three were old CMC cars, two were kits he bought from me and one was a car he tried to build from a set of molds."
Hmmm, I thought. This is not actually a ringing endorsement of Ryan MotorSports. But, since I am very pleased with my speedster and it appears to be well put together, I am going to assume it is one of the two kits from JPS.
Just thought we needed a little more history on Ryan.
