I'm having a lot of fun in my speedster. Here are some Instagram pics from my adventures. I'll try to keep it updated from time to time.

Fantastic pictures. Thanks for sharing. Not sure about taking that beautiful car off rode (with the wheel off of the ground) Did that damage anything?
Very cool Ryan!
wow, what a wonderful collection of stunning images, you have an eye, my friend!
2018 calendar submissions !

Thanks. The off-road adventure was a one-time-only event. Thankful to make it out of that one without a scratch. For more on that: https://www.speedsterowners.com...ding-in-my-speedster
I recently stopped by there in my Suburban and didn't have the same guts. I left my truck at the top and hiked down with the kids.
Incidentally, I'm new to Instagram, but I've been very impressed with the speedster photos there.
Here's a good start for anyone else new: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/porsche356/
Ryan, those are ALL very cool shots! You've got a good eye for composition. Thanks for sharing.

Forget the submissions. Ryan could BE the 2018 calendar!
Yes. Those are some great pictures.
As a "lurker" looking for a speedster, I PM'd Ryan a day or two ago letting him know that his Instagram photos define and embody the fun and experiences I'd like to have in a speedster. Well done Ryan. Hoping to join you someday on a ride; on road that is.

It's a VW front end; you'd have to hit pretty hard before you'd break anything, and then I'd expect bodywork before suspension damage. The dune buggy crowd I go off-roading with a couple times every summer will attest to how tough the parts that make up these cars are.
And yeah, between Ryan and Cory, next year's calendar is already there!
Now THAT's how you enjoy one of these! Nice, Ryan!
Thanks, Ryan! Perfect! So nice to see all of your beautiful Instagram pics gathered in one place, in a nice, large format!
And, Ryan's right... (check out the Instagram links he listed) -- it's worth getting an Instagram account just to enjoy the constant stream of 356 photos that it will deliver to the palm of your hand! There are MANY Instagrammers devoted to our favorite car!
Beautiful car and great shots. Thanks for the smiles this morning.
Ryan your pics encompass everything this hobby is.
That pic in front of the grafiti... you should copyright that one before it's too late!
That would be a great poster in a man cave / garage

Exactly right. Plus there are class acts there too, like @Cory McCloskey and @Seduction Motorsports.

Just awesome, Ryan, thanks SO MUCH. I put a couple of these in my favorite pics file, hope you don't mind. The one in front of that outrageous mansion -- where is that? And agreed, you could make a couple of calendars out of what we have here. Breathtaking.

That's the Stanford Mansion in Sacramento. I walked by it a couple days before and knew I wanted that shot. Taking photos like this keeps me curious about my surroundings. More photos coming soon...
Ryan the one with you standing on the rock phallus is a work of art. I am not going to take that any further. I think we all understand why we drive these cars.
I've been wanting a side by side comparison of several cars. I'd love one of the giant chevy or Oldsmobile boats next to my tiny tub. I'd also like one next to a high clearance big rig trailer to show just how low these cars are.
Ryan, you have some crazy composition skills. You sir, are the man.
Excellent talent my friend. Very clever way to paint you car with a crop duster.
Here's another batch of my favorite photos from Instagram. Enjoy.
This next one is at Anthony's shop in Auburn, CA.
(Theron took this next one. Thanks!)
Here's how to properly enter a Speedster:
...if I tried that, I'd be entering the emergency room...via wheelchair...
Who is female co-pilot? I think she was in the fake ad that Mitch produced.
Wasn't this scene in The Big Chill?

Ha. My wife and I are big fans of Crash Jewelry and took a couple shots of their bracelet and cuff links for them. The cuff above was forged from a silver Porsche Panamera 4S. My cuff links were from an Audi R8. Something fun and different.
Thanks for sharing those great shots @Ryan (formerly) in NorCal !
Beautiful, Ryan! Love every photo!
Ryan in NorCal posted:Missed one of my all time favorites. The Speedster-framed view of the Pacific Ocean from Nacimiento-Fergusson Road (with @Rusty S right behind me). Plus some others from the SLO trip last year.
We drove up that road ( and have been misspelling it ever since ) in May of 2011 due to a landslide down on the PCH while heading the long way to Carlisle . We finally came out near a Military Base Fort Leggat Hunter and the GI's were jumping up and down and waving at us like crazy. We waved back....jeeze, we never knew they'd be so happy to see a Speedster.
We learned later that night that they just announced the death of Bin Laden.....
