Sacatomatoes Bugorama

Most of you West Coast people know about the infamous Sacramento Bugormama. Well it is here again and I will be there. I had the speedster there twice, met Dale B for the first time there. It is a ton of fun.

I will not have the speedster, but will be running a 66 sunroof beetle in the Renn Kafer class (show cars that go fast). Should be able to run low 12's if all works as planned.

Ya'll should check it out. there are usually a couple of nice speedsters.

Car ran a respectful 12.3 and did a nice smoker burnout. I did see a nice cream colored speedster sitting behing the stands at the starting line. No owner around, but it was nice to check out.

Patrick - I was right up the street from you in Red Bluff for the boat drags. Saw a 213 @ 1/8 mile just before the blower belt left the boat, and some nice runs under 5 sec's at aro 230-235 mph. Love them boats........

another good place is Searspoint (sorry it will always be Candlestick too) Raceway every Wednesday night.

I will be there next Wednesday running the little white bug and maybe the Speedster.

Paul, you should take the t4 monster out and run it.

Congrats Pat. I misssed it this year but I will be there next year. I run the Bad Attitude Ghia. WIll you be coming out for the next Bug In at Irwindale or any of the other PRA races?
I am going to take the Speedster to Irwindale and see how it does there.
By the way did Mike Lawless show up out there?

Not sure if I will be able to make the other events. I will more than likely be at the next Sacto Bugorama.

Mike Lawless was there. He now runs the Super Gas class since he has dominated the Renn Kafer Cup in the past. In fact, a lot of the super clean and very fast guys are running SG. Mike went out in the first round on Sunday after running a 11.96 on Saturday.

Let me know how the Speedster runs. I want to run my Speedster at Searspoint one nigth this year before I sell her.
