What car(s) do you now have and which one is for sale? Are you selling the outlaw you just had made or another/previous car. Is the Tiger replacing the speedsters? Nice car btw.

When I was a kid, I always managed to have to go to the ER on major holidays: Gashed my leg with an ax on Memorial Day, almost tore off my ear on Easter and totaled my brother's Ford Bronco on Christmas Day (No....not all in the same year...)

Come to think of it, later on, when we had our OWN kids, we were on a first name basis at the ER with THEM!

But we're still hearty New Englanders......I guess.

...to me, thread drift is what makes this site so entertaining! Like our favorite red-haired female gear-head Spyder-driver once said..."it's like sitting on the back porch BSing with your friends..."

BTW, one of these days I will make the effort to join you guys at the Sacramento Bug In. I haven't been in that area since I was stationed at Mather AFB in Rancho Cordova (circa '69). It would be interesting to see how much things have changed.

In 69 there were still corn fields and hop ranches in Rancho Cordova.......not so much now. You would NOT think you were on the same planet let alone the same area.

There used to be a bar in Rancho (on US-50) called the Playboy (been kicked out of there a few times). Good times!

Jim there's going to be an airshow 11-12 Sept at Mather, If I make it back from downrange I might be there on the good 'ol C-5 :) what better time to come up than an airshow to bring back the memories ;)

Last years "Capital" Air Show at Mather was the first one for my grandkids. Talk about some really happy kids! GrandPa too!

BTW the Reno Air Races are Sept 15 to 19......;-)

Ricky - when I was at Mather ('69-70), I was with the 3535th ATC (Medic Squad for me) but also had a SAC B-52 bomber wing there. Had some pretty good times with my knucklehead Medic buddies. Didn't like the occasional 110+ degree heat, though!

Seriously, one of these days (soon hopefully) I'll make the trek up there for some event TBD (maybe next year's Bug o Rama).

jim rancho cordova is now called rancho cambodia if u know what i mean. also a big russian contingent has formed there, not the best part of town.

Bwaaaaaaa Haaaaaaa...Bob - amazing how things change/evolve. We used to inner-tube down the American River (beginning at Sunrise Blvd) down to one of the parks down river. I guess according to your comment, they probably call that portion of the river the Mekong River! 8-)

We still tube/float down the river but it is not as much fun. The idiots that drank too much spoiled it for everybody and now the beer police are out in force on the BIG weekends.

I used to clean the pool at the SAC compound before I joined the Navy in 72 to keep from being drafted.....;-)

Two interesting cars worth seeing at the Buggorama, both new Intermeccanicas.

Dave M has his IM setup for driving performance, no real comforts. For example his new IM doesn't have a cup holder. Instead he has a spot behind the seat that holds his water container perfectly.

Dale B. has his new IM setup for comfort, power windows, ac, heated seats, maybe even ac seats like the Avalon has. I'm looking forward to seeing the cup holder Henry built into Dale B's new IM. Might even be motorized.

I have the best cup holder any speedster ever had...

can someone bring a sun shelter, sure makes it more bearable.
