Well folks, I thought I was settled into sunny SoCal after the Boss postponed my Panama move early this year. Appears that I was mistaken, or hoping the black cloud would move off my horizon.

I'm going to relocate to Panama in early Summer. Done. So my car is back on the market. I've added new half and full tonneau's to the car and I've mounted the "new" Classic Hella Driving lights.

Price is a firm $35K. I've know some of you were ready to buy her when I backed out because of the relo changes they were putting me through. Apologies for double-dipping here, but hopefully someone here will appreciate the car and the care she's been given.

List of equipment:

Black Glasurit 1240 paint (perfect in every way)
Roadster reclining tan leather seats with headrests (extremely comfortable and perfect as well)
Stayfast "G" cloth top with low bow frame.
Full tan leather interior including dash and door sides.

Dennis,
Sorry to hear that things with your job have changed again and that you have to sell your immaculate Speedster.
C'mon guys, I know that the economy is bad but don't let this car slip away like you did on the blue roadster! This,if nothing else is a great investment. This car would cost over $70,000 to reproduce today!! This car belongs in the garage of an SOC member and not a stranger!
Good luck Dennis!
I've been lurking around this site for over a year. I've gotten more great information from here than I could have gotten anywhere I can think of. Being here in California I've passed on some nice cars because they were out of state and I hate the idea of fighting the DMV for one of the SB100 exemptions. Anyway I'd have to get up in the early AM after a New Year's Day party and try and find a DMV office at which to camp out.
So...this week I am going to take another look at this beautiful car and see what happens. I hope Dennis hasn't had his transfer recinded again, before I can see the car :)

Thanks for the welcome. I don't think I could have jumped into this 'madness' with a nicer car. I'm sorry Dennis had to sell but after a few years of looking at these rides his best fit my crazy bone. I became interested in Speedsters back in 1962 when my school buddy bought a 1958 Speedster. He still has it, totally restored, and last year turned down 150k for the car. He'd rather sell his wife :)
During his two years in Viet Nam I kept the car for him and can't remember driving a more fun car. So here I am and it is even more fun with this show-room fresh IM..
Hi Cory,
Actually, I told him if he comes back to the USA and wants the car back we'll talk :)... It is just in an unbelievable condition that I never expected to find in a used Speedster. I would like to find someone in my area for those times it needs service. I'm done with the oil changes, valve adjustments etc.. I'll tweek the easy stuff and try and locate a good shop for the other. These little bath tubs actually do attract as much attention as anything on the road. For the first day I thought all those people waving were trying to tell me something was wrong with the car. Finally realized they were just giving the thumbs up to a great ride... At least it was the thumb and not the universal finger wave ...
