I have a lowered rear end and my camber is way out. Inside of the tires get worn like crazy. Any suggestions on how to fix the camber. I'm not sure if the only way is to raise the car up a few inches, which I'm not opposed to. I've read a little about camber compensators, but it sounds like they are more for stability, and not camber adjustments.

You're right and what you're experiencing is perfectly normal (I do). The only way to fix that is by lifting the car up. I for one, live with that because these cars look a whole lot better when the stance resembles an original; if they're sitting too high in the back they look like a Baja Bug.
I've been reading on some VW posts that you can adjust the rear torsion bars and adjust the ride height. I should have done more research because I ordered some coil-overs last night from CIP1. The coil-overs are adjustable and I'll run them in addition to the torsion bar, hopefully raising the rear end by 1"-2". The coil-overs were only $65, so not a big investment. Maybe it'll make the ride smoother. Should get them this week.
